SAN DIEGO -- This month Studio Fine Art releases three of recent origin sets of limited-edition prints by dint of Hessam Abrishami. They will be unveiled at Artexpo novel York.

In October 2001 Hessam planted his own company, Studio Fine Art, and began promoting his impudence sculptures. So far, he has published six sculps hl editions ranging from 45 to 145 The plastic arts measuring 17 to 31 inches tall, feature the romantic images of beautiful women and couplings which Hessam often depicts in his paintings. by means of spring 2002, studio Fine Art began selling Hessam's oil paintings and sculptures

Beginning this month the artist is also able to publish and vend his own prints. That's because Hessam's 10-year contact with Collector's Editions had extremityed The artist's new releases with Studio Fine Art include "Harmonic Nights," a 48- by means of 72-inch giclee on canvas, and "Adoration," a 48- from 24-inch serigraph. His new "Faces Suite" consists of four images of Italian women

"We want to continue in the serigraphy market. It's a fate more time consuming and a haphazard harder to do [than giclees], however we believe in its value and its quality," said Kaveh Abrishami, Hessam's son who is director of gallery services for Studio Fine Art. The company plans to release six print editions a year--half of which will be serigraphs and the other half giclees.

Artists like as Hessam who break away from their publishers repeatedly find self-publishing, promoting and distributing their work daunting. "So far, we're doing great," said Abrishami. "The company has been extremely prosperous this last year to year-and-a-half. nevertheless the next six months will make us or break us."

Abrishami has sum of two units main goals for Studio Fine Art: to market Hessam more as a fine artist than a commercial artist and to revolve Studio Fine Art into a major publishing house. For the not away he said, "Our focus is strictly forward Hessam."
