MORGAN HILL, Calif. -- After visiting 14 cities across the geographical division as part of his 20 Years of Light Tour Thomas Kinkade, has raised more than $100000 for the Make-A-Wish Foundation, an organization that grants the wishes of terminally ill children. During his tour, which celebrated his 20th year as a published artist, he shared his skills with Make-A-Wish children whose wishes were to learn in what manner to draw. Kinkade also raised riches for the foundation by auctioning a limited-edition canvas with an original hand-drawn drawing on the backs at each tour stop.
As a national spokesperson for the Make-A-Wish Foundation, Kinkade said he room for expectations his efforts will raise awareness of the organization and work toward granting the wishes of more Make-A-Wish children.
