SANTA CRUZ Calif.--Painter and sculptor Salvatore Pecoraro has released "First Encore," his latest acrylic paintings and limited-edition giclee prints. This novel series consists of more than 100 one-foot-square mixed-media paintings upon raised wood panels. Pecoraro's inspiration for the series was taken from his have affection for of creating realistic and non-objective art utilizing a variety of technologies and mediums.

"I have always felt the ne to expres contemporary and innovative ideas using of recent origin materials and technologies," said Pecoraro. "Although this was part of 20th-century progressiveness, I always had a ne to summary up the best parts of thousands of years of art in a 'this-century' manner.
