ACC Craft point out returns for 28th year
SAN FRANCISCO -- Hand-crafted works from more than 300 artists will be onward view Aug. 8 to 10 at the Fort Mason Convention Center as part of the American Craft Council's 28th-annual Craft display The largest juried craft exhibit iii the West, the termination features jewelry, wearable art, quilts, baskets, toys and furniture, as well as sculptural and functional works of glass, ceramics, metal, forest paper and decorative fibers. More than 11000 are rely uponed to shop the diverse selection of one-of-a-kind and limited edition craft.
"The council takes pride in presenting an exhibition in which highly talented American craft artists can display their individuality with one-of-a-kind works or limited production pieces," said Carmine Branagan, executive director of the modern York-based American Craft Council. "We very much appreciate the richness and uniqueness of the trait tradition in California."
Admission is $8 for single in kind day, $14 for both days, and children in a less degree than 12 are admitted free. American Craft Council members and those who join at the display also are admitted free. The point out runs h-ore 10 a.m. to 6 pm in succession Aug. 8 and 9, and from 10 a.m. to 5 pm upon Aug. 10.
