of recent origin YORK and CHICAGO -- Richard Gray Gallery is celebrating its 40th anniversary with an exhibition of work the gallery has handled during its history, with a particular focus upon the recent past. For the first time, works residing in one as well as the other institutional collections and prominent private collections will be shown together. From 1963 when the gallery first spreaded its doors and began holding exhibitions in Chicago, until today, company officials said the gallery has built its reputation onward exhibiting some of the finest works of the 20th century
Included in the exhibition will be master works of art by dint of Willem de Kooning, Alberto Giacometti, David Hockney Jasper John Roy Lichtenstein, Henri Matisse, Pablo Picasso, Jackson Pollock Mark Rothko Andy Warhol and others.
