I read with great interest the "Artist's Proofs" story. I have a solution for you. Continue the traditional practice of AP and/or EAs, but

1 Number them, that commands the five to 20 percent of the edition.

2 Allow for master printers and associates to receive single or renumeration for their collaboration with the artists.

3 Provide the opportunity to donate an AP to charity for fundraislng from art.

4 Afford the artists rewards for their archives.

I expectancy other publishers see it my way and solidify a program for the industry.
